THE MISSION  Appointed and anointed by His Power to invade the greater metro area of Denver by uprooting , tearing down, destroying and overthrowing the power of darkness; and called to build and plant a new foundation based upon the Word of God. Jeremiah 1:10 - See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.   THE NAME Acts 1:8 – “But you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” Power Invasion Ministries was founded on the truth that we’ve received divine POWER from the Holy Spirit to INVADE the city of Denver and surrounding region with the salvation, miracles, and supernatural presence of God.    Here at PIM, we believe that it is time to stop playing church and to start being the church of POWER that Christ promised in John 14:12.  “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing.  He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”   THE PLAN To bring people to a POWER encounter with the sacrificial lamb at the cross and to see the resurrected Savior and reigning King through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.  We are to INVADE every dark place, and every un-reached community by the light of God’s Word.  For the Word declares that the Kingdom of God is not merely of talk, but of POWER.   Through the work of the cross in our lives, we can experience a POWER INVASION in: Our lives Our families Our households Our church Then we can see a POWER INVASION in: Our schools Our workplaces Our relationships Our neighborhoods Our communities Our towns Our cities Our governments THEN we fulfill His appointment walking in His anointing to: UPROOT – (to tear up by the roots) – the idolatry and wickedness in our city, to rid it of the vicious habits and customs which have long taken root. TEAR DOWN – (to lacerate, to pull violently away from or separate violently) – the veil and scales which have blinded man to the reality of the light, truth and love of the Lord Jesus. DESTROY – (to pull down, demolish, put an end to) – the lie of the enemy concerning denominational division and strife in the Body of Christ. OVERTHROW – (to utterly defeat, to throw down) – the kingdom of sin, evil wickedness, principalities, and powers that rule in Denver, through the power of prayer, spiritual warfare and intercession. BUILD – (to erect, to construct, to establish on a good foundation) – the Body of Christ operating as a unified army of brothers and sister in reaching this city through the love of Christ.  Also, to be a beacon of light and a safe house for the lost, hurting, hungry, poor and dying. PLANT – (to set in firm position, to establish in suitable soil) – the seed of God’s love , His Word, His Spirit, His grace, mercy, compassion, power, unity, and judgment in the city, the Body of Christ and throughout every entity possible.   “When we bombard the world with the artillery of the gospel, our ammunition is the explosive power of the Holy Spirit.  The Spirit animates believers, their teachings, their preaching, their prayer, their service, and their very lives.”   - Reinhart Bhonke STATEMENT OF BELIEFS: At Power Invasion Ministries, we believe the Bible teaches: The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are given by the inspiration of God and are the final authority on all matters of faith. ( 2Timothy 3:16)  There is One God manifested in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16-17)  The deity of Jesus Christ, eternally existing with God the Father, made manifest in the flesh; in His sinless life, His miracles, His overcoming and redeeming death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, and His eventual and promised return in power and glory as Lord of Lords and King of Kings. (John 1:1, 14; 2 Corinthians 15:3-4; 1 Thessalonians 4:14-16)  The reality of Satan and his present dominion over unregenerate man. ( 2 Corinthians 4:4) The fall of man and his lost state, which makes necessary a re-birth through confession and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. ( Romans 3:23, John 3:3, Romans 10:9)  The reconciliation of man to God by the substitutionary death and shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. ( 2 Corinthians 5:18, Ephesians 1:7)  The resurrection of the believers into everlasting life and blessings in heaven and the resurrection of unbelievers into everlasting punishment in the torments of hell. (Matthew 25:31-46)  The present supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit who bestows spiritual gifts: words of wisdom, words of knowledge, faith, gift of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, various kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues in and among believers on the earth since the day of Pentecost and continuing until our Lord’s return. (1 Corinthians 12:8-10)  Believers have been redeemed from the curse of the law, poverty, sickness, and spiritual death. (Galatians 3:13)  The Baptism of the Holy Spirit which is given to believers who ask for it. Teach the uncompromised Word of God. Be a supernatural church – “signs and wonders follow them that believe.” Feed and help the poor. Take care of widows and orphans. Be a house of prayer. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Equip the Body of Christ through the five fold ministry. Release the Body of Christ to win souls and evangelize. OUR STRATEGY: To learn to practice the presence of the Lord by: Celebrative worship that is fresh, alive, dynamic, Father pleasing, Jesus glorifying; in love, adoration, exaltation and passion for our Savior. Preaching the Word of God with conviction and without compromise. Walking the streets in the Lord’s anointing and authority, sharing the good news and meeting the needs of people we encounter. Helping the poor both physically and spiritually through evangelistic outreach, food and clothing banks. Being a family outreach center by ministering to the whole family from newborn babies to senior adults. Having a dynamic children’s ministry, believing children to be empowered with the gospel to experience intimate worship, to be used in the gifts of the Spirit, and to preach the Word of God.  We desire to reach families by first reaching out to their children.
